We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the Urban Logistics Innovation Day and Final Event of URBANE! This exciting event will be taking place at Area Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB) headquarters in Barcelona on the November 6, 2025. Do not miss out!
Urban logistics faces challenges such as traffic congestion, limited space for loading and unloading, and growing environmental concerns due to emissions from delivery vehicles. Additionally, the rise of e-commerce has increased pressure on last-mile delivery systems to be faster, more efficient, and sustainable within already strained urban infrastructures. Tackling these challenges calls for bold action and collaborative dialogue — that is where the new Urban Logistics Innovation Day comes in!
The new edition of the Urban Logistics Innovation Day will take place in Barcelona on 6 November — hosted by the Área Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB) and co-organised by POLIS, ETP-ALICE, INLECOM, and EIT Urban Mobility — and will also serve as the final conference of URBANE.
It will be a unique chance to learn more about the key findings, learnings, and outcomes of local pilot actions, and highlight the most promising solutions for replication. It will also open a space for public and private stakeholders, policymakers, researchers, and urban mobility practitioners to reflect upon policy, innovation, and investment pathways that can drive the uptake of sustainable last-mile delivery systems across Europe, back-to-back with the Smart City Expo / Tomorrow Mobility which is taking place between 4-6 November also in Barcelona.
This compelling event will take place at the headquarters of the Área Metropolitana de Barcelona (AMB) — C/62, núm. 16-18, 08040 Barcelona — on 6 November 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00 CET.
- You can register for the conference here. Registration closes on October 31, 2025.
- The draft agenda will be available in a few weeks
